How to use UX Pilot in Claude
UX Pilot helps you design wireframes and high-fidelity UI with AI. Inside Claude, you can ask for a screen or a full product flow, preview the result in chat, then open it in UX Pilot to keep editing.
What you can do
- Ask Claude for a single screen — wireframe or polished UI — from a plain-language prompt
- Ask for a multi-screen app or website flow, choose which screens to generate, and preview each one
- See designs in an interactive preview inside the Claude chat
- Continue in UX Pilot with Open in UX Pilot when you want to edit further
- Sign in with your UX Pilot account when Claude prompts you — no API key required
Set up UX Pilot in Claude
Follow these steps once, then you can generate designs in any chat:
- Open Claude on claude.ai or in Claude Desktop.
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Find UX Pilot and add or enable it.
- When Claude asks you to authorize, sign in to your UX Pilot account and allow access.
- Start a new chat and ask Claude to design something with UX Pilot.
Claude may ask you to approve UX Pilot tools before they run. Designs and access stay linked to the UX Pilot account you signed in with.
Using UX Pilot in a chat
- One screen: describe the page you need (for example a pricing page or a login screen). Claude generates a wireframe or UI and shows a preview in the chat.
- Several screens: describe the product or website flow. UX Pilot suggests screens; select the ones you want, generate them, then review each preview.
- Keep editing: when a design looks right, click Open in UX Pilot to open it in the UX Pilot editor.
Example prompts to try
After UX Pilot is enabled, paste one of these into Claude:
Generate a modern SaaS pricing page UI with three tiers and a featured Pro plan.
Design a multi-screen flow for a meal-planning app including home, recipes, grocery list, and profile.
What success looks like
- A UX Pilot preview appears in Claude’s reply
- You can see the generated wireframe or UI
- Open in UX Pilot takes you to the design in your UX Pilot workspace

If something goes wrong
- Sign-in did not finish — complete authorization in the browser window Claude opened, then ask again.
- No preview appears — open Settings → Connectors, turn UX Pilot off and on, then start a new chat.
- Open in UX Pilot shows the wrong account or an empty design — make sure you are signed into the same UX Pilot account you authorized in Claude.
