Soft Mesh: a violet, coral and peach mesh gradient on deep indigo
Soft Mesh is the studio's starting look: a Mesh gradient on the Dusk palette, where violet, coral pink and peach spots melt into a deep indigo base. Soft sits at 45 and Distort at 30, so the colors overlap without turning muddy, and a Grain of 18 stops the surface from looking like flat vector fill. It stays still by default, which makes it a dependable hero or sign-up background.
Make it yours
Open up the blend
Soft is at 45 here. Push it toward 70 and the three color spots merge into one haze, which suits long landing pages; pull it under 25 to get distinct pools of violet and peach.
Swap Dusk for a lighter mood
Change Palette from Dusk to Lavender Haze or Rose Gold for a pale version, then set Text color to Dark text so headlines in the Landing page preview keep their contrast.
FAQ
What settings make a mesh gradient look soft instead of blotchy?
Moderate ones. In Soft Mesh, Soft is 45, Distort is 30 and Swirl is only 10, so the color spots spread wide and bend a little without forming hard shapes. A Vignette of 20 darkens the corners slightly, which pulls the eye toward the middle of the frame.
How it works
Pick a starting point
Start from one of 28 looks such as Soft Mesh, Eclipse Rays or Riso Halftone, or choose a gradient type and one of 24 palettes.
Tune the gradient
Adjust scale, distortion, swirl and softness, add grain, glass panes or glass tiles, a dot, grid or line overlay, a second blended layer or a treatment such as halftone or pixel sort, and switch animation on with its own speed.
Preview and use it
See the gradient in landing page, card, mobile and sign up layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
