Prism Split: a holographic mesh gradient with chromatic color fringing
Prism Split takes a pastel mesh of periwinkle, pink and mint on pale lavender and pulls its color channels apart. Chromatic split is set to 65, so red and blue slide away from green toward the edges of the frame and leave rainbow fringes, like light through a prism or a holographic sticker. Distort at 55 bends the mesh enough to give those fringes curved edges to catch.
Make it yours
Control the rainbow edges
Near 25, Chromatic split gives a faint iridescent shimmer that works behind product shots. The preset's 65 is already strong, and near 100 the fringes turn into clear bands of color, better kept for posters.
Try the Opal palette
Swap Palette from Iridescent Cloud to Opal for a warmer, pearl-like version. Both are light, so set Text color to Dark text and check the contrast in the Feature preview.
FAQ
How do I make a holographic gradient?
Start with pale, shifting pastels and add color separation. Prism Split does both: the Iridescent Cloud palette supplies the pastels and Chromatic split offsets the color channels, more strongly toward the corners than in the center. Add a little Grain if you want a foil-like sparkle.
How it works
Pick a starting point
Start from one of 28 looks such as Soft Mesh, Eclipse Rays or Riso Halftone, or choose a gradient type and one of 24 palettes.
Tune the gradient
Adjust scale, distortion, swirl and softness, add grain, glass panes or glass tiles, a dot, grid or line overlay, a second blended layer or a treatment such as halftone or pixel sort, and switch animation on with its own speed.
Preview and use it
See the gradient in landing page, card, mobile and sign up layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
