Orbit Bloom: concentric orbit rings in coral, apricot and violet
Orbit Bloom wraps ten rings of arcs around a hollow centre, using the Orbit gradient type on the Sunset palette over a deep plum base. Bar profile is set to Pyramid, so the middle rings nearly close into full circles while the innermost and outermost stay short, and each arc runs from coral through apricot into violet along its length. With Animate on, the rings turn slowly at slightly different speeds, so the openings keep sliding past one another like planets in an orrery.

Reshape the rings
Bar profile decides how far each ring reaches. Valley flips the Pyramid, giving long inner and outer rings with short ones between, Wave ripples the arc lengths from ring to ring, and Noise gives random arcs that drift over time.
Thin out the orbit
Bands is 10 here, so each ring is fairly thick. Drop it to 5 for five chunky, poster-like bands, or raise it to 20 for fine, record-groove rings. Inner radius at 22 sets the size of the empty centre.
FAQ
Do the orbit rings rotate on their own?
Only while Animate is on. Each ring turns slowly around the first color spot, and neighbouring rings run at slightly different speeds, so the gaps drift apart and line up again. Speed sets the overall pace, and switching Animate off freezes one arrangement as a still background.
How it works
Pick a starting point
Start from one of 28 looks such as Soft Mesh, Eclipse Rays or Riso Halftone, or choose a gradient type and one of 24 palettes.
Tune the gradient
Adjust scale, distortion, swirl and softness, add grain, glass panes or glass tiles, a dot, grid or line overlay, a second blended layer or a treatment such as halftone or pixel sort, and switch animation on with its own speed.
Preview and use it
See the gradient in landing page, card, mobile and sign up layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
