Frosted Glass: a ribbed glass gradient over lilac, pink and deep violet
Sixteen vertical panes refract a lilac, soft pink and deep violet mesh in Frosted Glass, giving the ribbed look of reeded glass held in front of colored light. Glass is set to 70 and Soft to 60, so each pane shifts the blur behind it and catches a thin highlight along one edge. Grain is only 8, which keeps the surface clean, closer to glass than to paper.
Make it yours
Change the pane rhythm
Wide, calm slats behind a pricing card need fewer Panes: try 8 instead of 16. Going up to 30 gives a fine reeded texture that still holds at small sizes such as the Card preview.
Ease the refraction
Glass at 70 bends the colors strongly. Around 35 the panes become a hint, which is safer under long text. Turn on Compare finish to see the mesh with and without the glass side by side.
FAQ
Is this real background blur like CSS backdrop-filter?
No. The glass effect is drawn into the gradient itself: the image is split into vertical panes and each one offsets the colors behind it. You get the frosted look as a finished background, and nothing on your page has to be blurred live to achieve it.
How it works
Pick a starting point
Start from one of 28 looks such as Soft Mesh, Eclipse Rays or Riso Halftone, or choose a gradient type and one of 24 palettes.
Tune the gradient
Adjust scale, distortion, swirl and softness, add grain, glass panes or glass tiles, a dot, grid or line overlay, a second blended layer or a treatment such as halftone or pixel sort, and switch animation on with its own speed.
Preview and use it
See the gradient in landing page, card, mobile and sign up layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
