Solar pleats: a warm light leak of amber bands across dark maroon
Solar pleats turns the Curtain geometry into something close to a film light leak: Shape opening at 86 widens the column until its pleats cross most of the frame, and Direction at 25 tips them into a diagonal. With Depth / light falloff down at 32 there are only a few broad folds, each filled with honey amber, edged in burnt orange and lit by a cream highlight. The warmth against the dark maroon background suits album covers, event posters and autumn campaigns.
Make it yours
Add more pleats
Depth / light falloff decides how many folds the curtain holds. Raise it from 32 to 70 and the broad amber bands split into many narrow pleats, more like sunlight through venetian blinds.
Age it like film
Film grain is at 4. Push it to 14 and lift Light bloom from 52 to 70, and the bands take on the soft, dusty glow of an analog light leak on an old photograph.
FAQ
What is a light leak background?
A light leak is the warm streak of color that appears when stray light reaches film. As a background it adds warmth and a handmade feel; Solar pleats recreates it with burnt orange, honey and cream bands set at an angle on a dark maroon Background.
