Pearl portal: a tilted frame of pearly light on slate navy
Pearl portal is the quiet sibling of Electric portal: the same rounded-square Portal geometry, but thin, pale and turned 25 degrees. Depth / light falloff at 15 keeps the ring slender, Soft focus at 15 keeps it sharp, and the colors lean on an ivory Light color with only traces of dusty rose and steel blue along the inner edge. On the slate navy background it reads like mother of pearl, a good fit for fintech, beauty and premium product pages.
Make it yours
Square it up
Direction 25 gives the frame its tilted, floating feel. Set Direction to 0 when the portal needs to align with a card or a screenshot, and bring Organic distortion from 25 down to 0 so its outline loses the slight wobble.
Add more color to the pearl
With Depth / light falloff at 15 the ring is too thin to show much of its gradient. Raise it to about 50 and the steel blue First color and the dusty rose Second color get room to appear along the band.
FAQ
How do I make a light frame feel premium rather than neon?
Keep it thin, pale and still. Pearl portal does it with a low Light bloom of 34, an ivory Light color and a muted slate Background; for even more restraint, lower Tonal contrast from 65 so the rose and blue soften into the white.
How it works
Choose a light study
Start from one of 17 looks such as Spectral eclipse, Electric portal or Aurora curtain, or pick one of 8 starting geometries.
Refine the light
Adjust shape opening, light falloff, soft focus, light bloom, tonal contrast, exposure, diffusion and organic distortion, then drag the artwork to place its subject.
Color and use it
