Bloom: a gradient flower over pink circles with a soft-focus finish
Bloom is the gentlest look in the set. Outlined circles in one pink repeat over a blush background, nudged off center with Pattern origin X at 0.62, while a six-petal flower with radial symmetry shades from light pink into deep raspberry. The texture is Blur at 60 opacity in Soft light, focused on the flower itself, so the petals stay crisp and the rings around them drift out of focus like a shallow depth-of-field photo.
Make it yours
Keep the focus on the flower
Texture focus X and Texture focus Y are 0.68 and 0.5 to match the flower. If you move the flower with Shape center X, move the focus point as well, or the sharp area will end up on empty background.
Add or remove petals
For the Flower shape, Points is the petal count, 6 in this preset, and Soft at 90 keeps the petals round. Try 10 petals with Soft near 50 for a daisy, or 4 for a simple clover that holds up at icon size.
FAQ
What does the Blur texture do in the Bloom preset?
Blur behaves like a soft-focus lens, not a grain. The tool lays a blurred copy of the pattern and shape over the sharp one and leaves a clear window around the texture focus point. In Bloom that point sits on the flower, so the petals stay defined while the pink rings toward the edges melt away. The texture's Opacity, 60 here, sets how strong the out-of-focus area is.
How it works
Build the pattern
Pick a motif and a square, brick or hex layout, then set scale, spacing, weight, rotation, two pattern colors and a background.
Add a shape and a texture
Place one of 8 shapes with a solid, outline or gradient fill, then layer one of 9 textures with a blend mode and opacity.
Frame and use it
Choose a ratio from 1:1 to 9:16, preview it in hero, card and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
