Pattern generator with shapes and noise textures
Pattern, Shape & Texture Maker builds a background in three layers: a repeating pattern, a hero shape and a texture on top. Choose from 18 motifs such as dots, waves, topographic and truchet, add a star, flower or squircle, and finish with grain, noise, paper or riso texture. The result is a static graphic made for product surfaces.
How it works
Build the pattern
Pick a motif and a square, brick or hex layout, then set scale, spacing, weight, rotation, two pattern colors and a background.
Add a shape and a texture
Place one of 8 shapes with a solid, outline or gradient fill, then layer one of 9 textures with a blend mode and opacity.
Frame and use it
Choose a ratio from 1:1 to 9:16, preview it in hero, card and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.

FAQ
What can the pattern generator make?
Repeating patterns from 18 motifs: dots, grid, lines, diagonal, triangles, hex, waves, zigzag, checker, crosses, plus, circles, topographic, truchet, halftone, isometric, confetti and stipple. Each can be mono, duo or multi color with an optional fade.
Does it work as a noise texture generator?
Yes. The texture layer has 9 presets: grain, paper, noise, halftone, riso, fabric, scanlines, blur and rough. You control opacity, scale, roughness, tint and blend mode, and you can lower the pattern opacity to let the texture lead.
Can I use my own colors?
Yes. Pattern, shape, background and texture tint colors are all editable, and 16 starting points such as Swiss dots and Blueprint give you a base to recolor.
Is the pattern generator free?
Exploring is free and runs in your browser. Using your result on the UX Pilot canvas or exporting it needs a free UX Pilot account.
