Survey Blocks: navy outlined rectangles with crimson fills and registration marks
Survey Blocks looks like a site plan mid-draft. Twelve rectangles of very different sizes land at random across the canvas: half are a navy outline with nothing inside, a quarter are washed in navy and a quarter get a translucent crimson fill. Faint guide lines overshoot the top and left edge of each block like registration marks, and with Rotation at 0 everything stays square to the frame on a warm bone background.
Make it yours
Sharpen the corners
Corner radius comes from Tension, and 70 rounds each block noticeably. Bring Tension down to 0 for hard architectural corners, which pair well with the guide lines and the Grain of 5.
Add more plots to the plan
Element count is only 12, so there is a lot of open paper. Raise it to 20 or more for a busier map, and lower Depth from 48 to about 20 so thinner outlines keep the overlaps readable.
FAQ
Where does a style like Survey Blocks fit?
It suits products about planning, measuring or organizing: analytics, real estate, logistics, project tools. The balanced composition spreads the blocks over the whole canvas with no fade, so check it in the Case or Split preview and step through Variation until the large blocks sit clear of your text.
