Mosaic Drift: loose indigo and burnt orange tiles scattered over warm cream
Mosaic Drift is a mosaic with half its pieces missing: it walks a fine grid, fills a little under half of the cells, then nudges, stretches and tilts each tile so nothing lines up. About three quarters of the tiles are dusky indigo and the rest burnt orange, at mixed opacities over warm cream with Grain at 8. The edge composition fades the left side, so the tiles seem to drift in from the right.
Make it yours
Fill in more of the mosaic
How many cells get a tile depends on Tension. At 55 a little under half are filled; take Tension to 100 for a crowded wall of overlapping tiles, or down to 0, where only about a quarter of the cells keep a tile and the cream opens up.
Scale up the tiles
Rhythm works backwards here: higher values mean smaller cells. It is 80 in this preset, so tiles are small. Drop Rhythm to 20 for noticeably chunkier tiles, which read better in the Mobile preview.
FAQ
Can I match Mosaic Drift to my brand colors?
Yes. The look uses three colors only. Light color is the background, Ink colors most tiles and Accent colors roughly one tile in four. Put your main brand color in Ink and a contrasting one in Accent. Tile opacity varies at random, so you also get lighter tints of both colors without having to pick them.
