Radial Score: a navy and vermilion burst of strokes from the lower left
A burst, not a wash. Radial Score draws 130 straight strokes with rounded ends, all pointing away from a focal point parked low on the left at 18 by 78, so the rays fan out of the corner and the upper right stays open. Stroke weights run from thin to chunky, navy dominates, vermilion takes a third of the rays, and Grain at 7 over warm cream gives it the feel of an offset-printed poster.
Make it yours
Lengthen the rays
Ray length follows Depth, and at 61 the burst stays compact in its corner. Push Depth to 100 and the longest strokes reach toward the middle of the canvas; pair it with a Shape scale above 88 if the burst should own the layout.
Re-center the burst
Focal point X is 18 and Focal point Y is 78, which tucks the origin into the lower left. Set both to 50 for a symmetrical sunburst, and switch Composition from edge to balanced so the left half is no longer faded.
FAQ
Why does the Radial Score burst look faded on the left?
Composition is set to edge, which lays a gradient of the Light color over the left of the canvas and clears about two thirds of the way across. The burst starts at the lower left, so its core is softened and the rays gain strength toward the right. That keeps the left side quiet enough for a headline.
