Contour Atlas: topographic contour rings in lavender and mint on a dark ground
Think of a relief map drawn at night. Contour Atlas nests 22 closed rings around a focal point in the upper right (77 by 30), and Tension at 74 makes the outer rings wobble far more than the inner ones, so the form loosens as it grows. Pale lavender lines with a mint ring on every third step sit on near-black indigo, and the edge composition fades the left side back to the background for a headline.
Make it yours
Change the number of lobes
Each ring has six lobes because Rhythm is 43. Near 90 you get nine tight ripples per ring; close to 0 only three broad ones remain, and the map starts to look like a coastline chart.
Lighten the line weight
Depth is high at 82, which thickens every contour and makes it strongly opaque. Around 30 the strokes slim down and drop to under half opacity, a better fit behind dense UI such as the Product preview.
FAQ
Can I use Contour Atlas on a light background?
Yes. The dark look comes only from the three colors: Light color is a near-black indigo, Ink is pale lavender and Accent is mint. Swap Light color to an off-white and Ink to a dark tone and you get the same contour geometry as a daytime map. Keep Ink clearly apart from the background in brightness, since the rings are thin strokes with no fill.
