Folded Stripes: leaning lemon and hot pink stripes cut by a dark curved band
This is the loudest preset of the twenty. Twenty-four full-height stripes, lemon yellow with hot pink on every third, cover a charcoal canvas, and Tension at 84 makes their edges lean in and out in a wave so the surface looks pleated. A thick band of the charcoal background then curves across the stripes at the height of the focal point, like a strap over fabric, and a 24 degree Rotation throws the whole thing off axis.
Make it yours
Relax the pleats
Tension is 84, the reason the stripe edges lean so much and the dark band bows so high. Halve Tension to around 40 for straighter stripes and a flatter curve, which is easier to pair with a logo.
Resize the crossing band
Rhythm controls how wide the dark curved band is, and 60 makes it a bold strap. For a slim cut that lets more stripe show, take Rhythm to 0, then use Focal point Y to slide the band higher or lower on the canvas.
FAQ
Is Folded Stripes too intense to sit behind interface text?
As a full-bleed background, usually yes: lemon yellow and hot pink at Depth 70 leave little calm space. It works better as a contained visual, such as a campaign card, a cover image or the art side of the Split preview. To tone it down, lower Depth toward 30 so the stripes sink into the charcoal, or choose darker Ink and Accent colors.
