Particle Coast: thousands of petrol blue dots gathered in a feathered diagonal band
More than two thousand tiny dots make up this look, and none of them sits on a grid. They gather in a band across the canvas at the height of the focal point, packed at the core and feathering out above and below, like sand thrown along a tide line. Petrol blue dots with a coral one every seventh lie on a pale sea-mist ground, and a 26 degree Rotation sets the coast on a diagonal.
Make it yours
Narrow the beach to a seam
Tension sets how thick the packed core of the band is, and Depth how far stray dots travel from it. They are 72 and 68 here; take both under 20 and the dots pull into a thin seam that works as a section divider.
Lay the coast flat
Rotation at 26 gives the diagonal. At 0 the band runs level across the canvas at the height of Focal point Y, currently 50; move that to 85 and it becomes a shoreline along the bottom of a hero.
FAQ
How is the Particle Coast effect built?
Each particle gets a random position along the width of the canvas and a random distance above or below a line through Focal point Y. Most land close to the line and a few land far, which creates the packed core and the soft fringe. The field is then rotated by 26 degrees and, because Composition is edge, faded toward the background on the left.
How it works
Pick a visual system
Choose one of 20 families such as Echo Rings, Halo Grid, Particle Coast, Glyph Terrain or Ribbon Stack.
Compose it
Choose a balanced, focal, edge or repeat composition, move the focal point and set density, scale, rotation, rhythm, tension, depth and grain.
Judge it in context and use it
Preview it in product, landing, AI and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
