Retro pattern generator for analog supergraphics
Retro Rhythm Lab builds bold, repeatable graphics in the spirit of 1970s supergraphics. Choose a circuit, arches, truchet curves, rays, tiles, a weave, waves, rosettes or diamonds, set the grid density, the weight of each band and the spacing between modules, and finish it with soft corners, ink strength and film grain.
How it works

FAQ
What does Retro Rhythm Lab make?
Colorful patterns built from repeating modules, such as paths, arches, curves, rays and tiles, with the soft corners and ink texture of analog print.
Which patterns are included?
Nine: circuit, arches, truchet, rays, tiles, weave, waves, rosette and diamonds. Each has its own construction, not just a different color set.
Is the pattern animated?
It stays still until you press Play. The modules then move organically, breathe or ripple as a wave, and you set the intensity and speed.
Is Retro Rhythm Lab free?
Exploring is free and runs in your browser. Using your result on the UX Pilot canvas or exporting it needs a free UX Pilot account.
