Plum Noir: velvet cells glowing rose on deep plum
Plum Noir fills a deep plum Ground with round cells that glow rose at the core and darken to plum at the rim, like velvet catching light from inside. Fine pale membranes outline each cell, some with a second inner ring, and many hold a small dark nucleus set slightly off center. The cells grow larger near the focal point, and one small cell there is solid peach in the Signal color, the only flat, unlit shape in the frame.
Make it yours
Open space between cells
Rhythm sets the gap kept between neighbors. At 50 the cells sit a short breath apart; raise Rhythm to 100 for clear dark channels, or drop it to 0 so they crowd together like tissue under a microscope.
Make the center swell
Tension adds size to cells near the focal point, and Depth widens the area that gets the boost. Raise both toward 90 for a few large glowing bodies in the middle, surrounded by small ones.
FAQ
Is Plum Noir suited to dark mode interfaces?
Yes. The Ground is a nearly black plum and Text ink is a warm off-white with strong contrast, so headlines and body text stay readable on top. Keep Element count low, around 8, so fewer cells compete with the copy.
How it works

Compose it
Choose a Balanced, Focal, Edge, Repeat or Interface composition, drag to move the focal point, and set Element count, Shape scale, Rotation, Rhythm, Tension and Depth.
