Wasabi Signal: a pixel canopy with one wasabi L-block
Wasabi Signal paints a canopy of square pixels over a near-black Ground, stepping from dark olive through sage to cream highlights as if a forest were seen from above at night. Where the canopy thins out, cells are cut diagonally into sharp half-squares, and the gaps between clumps are left dark. One L-shaped block in the Signal color, a bright wasabi yellow green, sits at the focal point and gives the eye a single place to land.
Make it yours
Change the pixel size
Rhythm and Element count both make the cells smaller. Drop Rhythm to 0 and Element count to 4 for chunky, readable pixels, or push both up for a fine dither that reads almost like grain.
Clear the edges of the frame
Tension thins the canopy as it gets farther from the focal point. Raise it to 100 and the corners fall dark while the pixels gather around the L-block; at 0 the canopy spreads evenly across the frame.
FAQ
How big is the wasabi block in Wasabi Signal?
Depth sets it. Each arm of the L is one cell wide below a Depth of 25, two cells at the preset's 50, and three cells from 75 up, so it can stay a small cursor-like mark or become a bold, logo-sized accent.
How it works
Pick a direction
Start from one of 20 looks such as Transformative Teal, Swiss Red, Bioluminescent or Riso Club, or choose a Family such as Echo rings, Particle coast or Ribbon stack.
Compose it
Choose a Balanced, Focal, Edge, Repeat or Interface composition, drag to move the focal point, and set Element count, Shape scale, Rotation, Rhythm, Tension and Depth.
Set the roles and use it
Color the Ground, Text ink, Brand, Brand 2 and Signal roles, pick a Material and its strength, preview it in product, landing, AI and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
