Modern Gothic: lilac lancet arches around one burgundy arch
Modern Gothic lines up twelve pointed lancet arches along the bottom of a warm paper Ground, rising from short at the edges to tallest near the center like the nave of a pastel cathedral. Each arch is filled in lilac or dusty rose, traced inside with a hairline second arch and a center mullion, and pierced by a small round rose window, while thin black spires stand between them. The arch under the focal point is deep burgundy in the Signal color, the one dark window in a light facade.

Sharpen the skyline
Tension decides how wide the rise toward the center spreads. At 50 the arches climb in a gentle hill; lower Tension to 10 for a single tall peak in the middle, or raise it to 100 so nearly all arches stand at full height.
Slim or widen the arches
Rhythm sets how much of each bay an arch fills. At 50 there is room for the black spires between them; at 100 the arches nearly touch, and at 0 they thin into narrow lancets with wider gaps of paper.
FAQ
Can I make the Modern Gothic arches taller?
Raise Depth. It lifts every arch, the central ones most, so at 100 the tallest nearly reach the top edge of the frame. Element count changes how many arches there are, from five at the low end up to 21 at the maximum.
How it works

Compose it
Choose a Balanced, Focal, Edge, Repeat or Interface composition, drag to move the focal point, and set Element count, Shape scale, Rotation, Rhythm, Tension and Depth.
