Bioluminescent: a glowing plankton shoreline with one lime cluster
Bioluminescent scatters close to two thousand points of light along a winding band that crosses the black Ground on a 20 degree Rotation, like plankton lighting up a shoreline at night. Most specks are cyan, about a quarter are violet and a few are white sparkles, all bloomed by the glow material at a Material strength of 12. A tight cluster of lime in the Signal color sits right of center at the focal point, the only light in the frame that is not cool blue or violet.
Make it yours
Wind the shoreline harder
Tension sets how far the band snakes up and down, already strong at 70. Push it to 100 for a looping coast that nearly folds back on itself; drop it to 20 for a calm, almost straight stream of light.
Widen or tighten the band
Depth controls how far particles spread from the center line of the shore. At 60 the edge feathers out softly; lower it to 15 for a thin, bright filament, or raise Material strength for a stronger bloom.
FAQ
How many particles does Bioluminescent draw?
Element count times 80, so the preset's 24 gives 1,920 specks. Each one is a tiny circle and the field is batched into a few paths, so it stays light enough to animate at the default Speed of 16 even at the maximum count of 28.
How it works
Pick a direction
Start from one of 20 looks such as Transformative Teal, Swiss Red, Bioluminescent or Riso Club, or choose a Family such as Echo rings, Particle coast or Ribbon stack.
Compose it
Choose a Balanced, Focal, Edge, Repeat or Interface composition, drag to move the focal point, and set Element count, Shape scale, Rotation, Rhythm, Tension and Depth.
Set the roles and use it
Color the Ground, Text ink, Brand, Brand 2 and Signal roles, pick a Material and its strength, preview it in product, landing, AI and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
