Mocha Studio: a cut-paper landscape with a saffron sun
Mocha Studio stacks nine wavy layers of cut paper into a rolling landscape, pale clay at the back and deepening to rich mocha in the foreground, each casting a soft shadow onto the layer behind it. A saffron sun in the Signal color sinks behind the first ridge at the focal point, half hidden like a late afternoon scene in a paper diorama. Paper material at a Material strength of 12 gives the sky and hills a visible fiber, so it looks like it was cut from real card.
Make it yours
Make the hills steeper
Tension sets the height of each ridge, moderate at 45. Push it to 90 for tall, dramatic dunes, or drop it to 10 for low, nearly flat bands that sit well behind a headline.
Deepen the shadows
Depth enlarges both the shadow under each paper layer and the saffron sun. At 90 the cut paper looks lifted well off the board; at 0 the layers flatten into something closer to a print.
FAQ
How do I move the sun in Mocha Studio?
Use Focal point X and Focal point Y. The sun sits at that point and the horizon follows it, so raising Focal point Y moves both the sun and the hills down, leaving more open sky above the landscape.
How it works
Pick a direction
Start from one of 20 looks such as Transformative Teal, Swiss Red, Bioluminescent or Riso Club, or choose a Family such as Echo rings, Particle coast or Ribbon stack.
Compose it
Choose a Balanced, Focal, Edge, Repeat or Interface composition, drag to move the focal point, and set Element count, Shape scale, Rotation, Rhythm, Tension and Depth.
Set the roles and use it
Color the Ground, Text ink, Brand, Brand 2 and Signal roles, pick a Material and its strength, preview it in product, landing, AI and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
