Burgundy Lacquer: glossy red ribbons with one peach streak
Burgundy Lacquer layers eight thick ribbons in S-shaped sweeps across a deep wine Ground, each one built from a burgundy or red body, a brighter band along its upper half and a thin specular streak, like lacquered satin under a studio light. Soft drop shadows lift every ribbon off the one beneath, and a Rotation of 350 tilts the stack slightly. The streak on the middle ribbon is peach in the Signal color while the rest are pale highlights, and gloss at a Material strength of 10 adds a diagonal sheen over everything.

Bend the ribbons further
Tension sets how deep each S-curve swings. At 45 the ribbons roll in broad waves; push it to 90 for tight, dramatic folds, or drop it to 0 for gentler, flatter waves of lacquer.
Use fewer, fatter ribbons
Element count sets the number of ribbons, eight at 16. Lower it to 4 for five ribbons, then raise Depth to 90 so each one grows wider and casts a deeper shadow.
FAQ
Which ribbons in Burgundy Lacquer use Brand 2?
Every third ribbon, starting with the second, is drawn in the brighter Brand 2 red, and the others use the darker Brand burgundy. Each highlight band is mixed from its own ribbon color and Brand 2, so all of them keep a lacquer glow.
