Wave score: an SVG line pattern of stacked waves with a drifting phase
Wave score stacks 30 horizontal lines like staves and sends the same two-crest wave along each one, starting a touch later on every line below. That small delay makes the crests slide diagonally down the stack, the way a signal looks when traces are plotted one under another. Near-black ink at a Weight of 1.8 on warm paper makes it an easy cover for a podcast, a playlist or an audio product page.

Curvature controls amplitude and sits at 65. Around 20 the lines only tremble, which keeps them readable as ruled paper behind a headline; at 100 the crests are tall and the diagonal drift becomes the main event.
Stand the waves upright
Rotation is 0, so the lines run horizontally. Set Rotation to 90 and switch Canvas format to Portrait to get vertical strings for a story or poster layout, then raise Shape scale from 100 toward 130 so the strings fill more of the tall frame.
FAQ
Is the Wave score pattern animated?
It is not. Minimal Shapes Lab draws static vector artwork and none of its systems move. The sense of motion in Wave score comes only from the phase shift between neighboring lines. Because nothing animates, there is no reduced-motion concern when you use it as a page background.
How it works
Choose a system
Pick one of 24 geometric systems, from Ray crown and Iris fold to Latitude cage and Twist tower.
Shape the geometry
Set density, detail, bend, openness, weight, scale, rotation and offset, and change the variation for a new arrangement.
Color, frame and use it
Set paper, primary, secondary and accent colors, choose landscape, square or portrait, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
