Pill matrix: a geometric pattern of terracotta capsules with a directional flow
Pill matrix lines up 25 rounded capsules on a five by five grid, brick red on a peach-tinted cream. Their angles are not random: a Curvature of 64 lets a slow wave steer most of each pill's direction, and Complexity 4 snaps the result to 22.5-degree steps, so the field seems to turn gradually from one corner to the other. It is a friendly, low-detail pattern for feature cards, empty states and onboarding panels.
Make it yours
Choose between flow and scatter
Curvature blends two sources for each capsule's angle. At 100 the wave takes over and the pills turn smoothly across the grid; at 0 every angle comes from the seeded shuffle and the pattern looks scattered. The preset value of 64 sits between the two.
Snap to stricter angles
With Complexity at 4 the capsules can rest at 22.5-degree increments. Lower it to 2 for 45-degree steps and a more rigid, signage-like pattern, or raise it to 9 and the angles become fine enough to read as a continuous turn.
FAQ
Can I recolor Pill matrix to match my brand?
You can. Ink sets the capsule color (brick red here) and Light color sets the paper (a peachy cream). For a second brand color, choose it under Accent and raise Accent coverage from 0: at 30, about a third of the capsules switch to it. Set Background to Transparent if the pattern should sit on your own surface color.
How it works
Choose a system
Pick one of 24 geometric systems, from Ray crown and Iris fold to Latitude cage and Twist tower.
Shape the geometry
Set density, detail, bend, openness, weight, scale, rotation and offset, and change the variation for a new arrangement.
Color, frame and use it
