Twist tower: a geometric spiral of rotating, shrinking square outlines
Every line in Twist tower is straight, yet the figure appears to curve. Thirty square outlines are stacked from large to small, each turned a few degrees more than the last for a total twist of about 120 degrees, so the corners trace four smooth spiral arms. Rendered in near-black at a Weight of 1.4 on warm off-white, it has the feel of string art or a view down a stairwell.
Make it yours
Control the total twist
The preset's Curvature of 68 turns the smallest square roughly 120 degrees from the largest. At 25 the twist is a gentle 45 degrees and the form reads as a tapering tunnel; at 100 it reaches a half turn and the spiral arms become pronounced.
Clear the center for content
Open space sets the size of the smallest square, 16 to start with. Raise it to 50 and the lines compress into a frame with a large clear middle, room enough for a product shot or a short title in the Feature or Campaign preview.
FAQ
Can I use Twist tower with a transparent background?
Yes. Switch Background from Solid to Transparent and the warm off-white paper is removed, leaving only the ink lines, so the spiral can sit on a photo or a colored section. On dark surfaces change Ink to a light color first. Placing it on the UX Pilot canvas or exporting it requires a free UX Pilot account.
How it works
Choose a system
Pick one of 24 geometric systems, from Ray crown and Iris fold to Latitude cage and Twist tower.
Shape the geometry
Set density, detail, bend, openness, weight, scale, rotation and offset, and change the variation for a new arrangement.
Color, frame and use it
