Signal band: thin lime light lines with a terminal-screen feel
Two thin green lines on a black screen: Signal band borrows its look from oscilloscopes and old terminals. The edge field is laid flat with an Angle of 90 and shrunk to a Shape scale of 52, which pulls its two bands in from the borders as parallel horizontals. A Custom spectrum blends lime Ink into deep green Accent on a black-green backdrop, while Spread 24, Complexity 10, Glow 34 and Grain 18 keep the lines thin, scan-lined and a little noisy.
Make it yours
Make the trace wobble
Curvature is only 12, so the lines stay almost ruler-straight. Raise it past 50 and they start to oscillate like a live signal, which pairs well with the slightly quick Speed of 26.
Swap phosphor green for amber
With Spectrum on Custom the look is defined by Ink and Accent alone. An amber Ink with a dark rust Accent gives a vintage amber-monitor variant; keep Light color close to black so the low Glow of 34 still reads.
FAQ
Why is there so much grain in this preset?
Grain is set to 18 out of a possible 30, the highest of any Spectrum Flow starting point. Combined with a low Glow it breaks up the dark background and makes the lines feel displayed on hardware instead of rendered perfectly. If you want a cleaner, more modern dashboard mood, take Grain down to 4.
