Dawn ribbon: a slow, thin sunrise band over dark plum
Dawn ribbon keeps the default ribbon field but changes its posture: the Curve is a valley, flattened by a Curvature of 38 and enlarged to a Shape scale of 130, so the band sags gently across the whole frame like first light along a horizon. Spread at 34 keeps it slim, the sunset spectrum warms it, and Glow stays modest at 44 over a dark plum backdrop. With Speed at 8 the motion is closer to breathing than flowing.
Make it yours
Brighten toward full sunrise
Glow is a restrained 44. Raising it to 70 and widening Spread from 34 to around 55 turns first light into a full sunrise, which suits onboarding and welcome screens better than the quiet original.
Level or steepen the horizon
Angle is 340, a 20 degree lean off level. Set it to 0 for a symmetrical bowl of light under a centered headline, or try 300 for a steeper sweep when your content sits to one side.
FAQ
Is this background calm enough to sit behind reading content?
It is one of the calmest starting points in Spectrum Flow Lab. Speed is 8 against a default of 20, the band is thin, and Grain at 8 adds a soft tooth to the dark plum. For long reading sessions you can go further and set Speed to 0 so the page holds still.
