Pearl satellite: a ringed orb with a soft pearl sheen
Where the other presets stripe their metal, Pearl satellite polishes it to satin. The satellite shape, an orb with a thin ring and a small moon, gets only 3 bands, a Distortion of 12 and a Softness of 76, so reflections turn into a slow pearly gradient with no hard stripes. Cream Ink, a dusty mauve Accent and a warm greige Light color hold contrast low enough to sit behind light interfaces.
Make it yours
Bring back some chrome
If pearl is too matte for your layout, lower Softness from 76 toward 50 and lift Distortion to around 25. Stripes reappear on the orb while the cream palette stays gentle.
Scale it into a background object
Size is 95 here. Push Size up to 140 and let the orb crop off one side of the frame for an ambient backdrop, then check the Signup and Welcome previews for legibility.
FAQ
How is Pearl satellite different from Silver flow?
Silver flow is a knot with clearly visible moving stripes in cool silver. Pearl satellite swaps in the ringed orb, cuts Distortion from 36 to 12, raises Softness from 45 to 76 and warms every color. You end up with a satin, low-contrast object, not a mirror.
How it works
