Electric knot: a neon mint knot with twelve warped bands
Electric knot is the loudest setting in Liquid Metal Lab. Bands jumps to 12 and Distortion to 57, the highest of any preset, so the surface fills with tight, wavy mint stripes that look like contour lines or a moire. The knot is enlarged to Size 110 and tipped over with Rotate X 68 and Rotate Y 54, with a neon mint Ink and violet Accent on a deep navy Light color.
Make it yours
Tame the stripe density
Twelve Bands can alias on small screens. Step Bands down to 8 and hold Distortion at 57 to keep the warped, electric character while giving each mint stripe more room.
Try a second neon
Swap Ink from mint to a hot magenta or acid yellow and leave the navy backdrop alone. Softness at 30 keeps edges tight, which is what makes saturated colors look lit from within.
FAQ
Is the Electric knot animation too intense for a landing page?
It can be. Dense, high-contrast stripes in motion are tiring behind body text and may bother motion-sensitive visitors. Lower Speed from 24 toward 8, keep the knot away from paragraphs, and offer a still version, with Speed at 0, for people who prefer reduced motion.
How it works
Choose a form
Pick a knot, sphere, torus, capsule, bloom, satellite, helix, links, gem or ribbon, or import a GLB, OBJ or STL model.
Shape the metal
Set bands, distortion, softness, scratch density, light and speed, and choose paper, primary and secondary colors.
Frame and use it
Rotate and size the form, preview it in landing, card and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
