Golden helix: a molten gold coil on warm black
Golden helix wraps a spiral coil in pale gold Ink with a bronze Accent, set against a warm, almost black Light color. Bands is at 7, which puts several stripes on every turn of the coil, while a Distortion of 22 lets them flow in clean curves. Rotate X is -14, the only backward tilt in the set, which shows the coil from slightly below, a framing that suits premium, finance and awards pages.

Turn gold into copper or brass
Only two values define the metal: Ink and Accent. Move Ink from pale gold to a salmon orange and Accent to a red-brown for copper, or pull both toward green-yellow for brass. The dark backdrop can stay.

At Size 92 the coil fits the frame with room to spare. Change Rotate Y from 32 to something near 80 to see the helix side-on, which exposes more turns and works better in wide banners.
FAQ
How do I make a gold liquid metal effect?
Start from this preset. The gold comes from a pale gold Ink for the bright reflections and a bronze Accent for the dark bands, on a warm black backdrop that keeps the yellow saturated. Hold Softness near 48: much lower and the gold turns stripy, much higher and it goes flat.
How it works
Choose a form
Pick a knot, sphere, torus, capsule, bloom, satellite, helix, links, gem or ribbon, or import a GLB, OBJ or STL model.
Shape the metal
Set bands, distortion, softness, scratch density, light and speed, and choose paper, primary and secondary colors.
Frame and use it
Rotate and size the form, preview it in landing, card and mobile layouts, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
