Chrome background generator with sculpted reflections
Luminous Alloy Lab renders liquid metal surfaces lit like a macro photograph. Choose a cascade, a ribbon, a vortex, dunes, an annulus, a vault, pebbles or pleats, then set the fold frequency, the surface tension and the fine ripples. Polish, light direction, reflection contrast, color dispersion and sculptural depth decide how the surface catches the light.

FAQ
What does Luminous Alloy Lab make?
Liquid metal surfaces with folds, ripples and colored reflections, lit like a studio macro shot and rendered live in your browser.
How is it different from Liquid Metal Lab?
Liquid Metal Lab shapes a 3D object you can orbit. Luminous Alloy Lab paints a full-frame reflective surface, which suits backgrounds and covers.
Is the artwork animated?
It stays still until you press Play. The surface then flows, breathes or catches a moving light, and you set the intensity and speed.
Is Luminous Alloy Lab free?
Exploring is free and runs in your browser. Using your result on the UX Pilot canvas or exporting it needs a free UX Pilot account.
