Rose orbit: concentric mauve rings with a peach glow
Rose orbit is a second take on the Annulus with 4 folds, so smooth rings of cocoa mauve metal circle a small clover-shaped knot like planets on an orbit. Direction is turned by 25 degrees to tilt the rings, and a palette of dusty violet #786591, rose #c58f86 and a peach Light color #f7ddcd warms the whole surface. Thin lavender flashes flicker on the inner edges, adding just enough sparkle for beauty, jewellery or lifestyle brands.
Make it yours
Center the orbit
The clover knot sits slightly right of and below the middle of the frame. Use Position X and Position Y, or drag the artwork, to line it up with the focal point of your layout.
Swing the light around
Set Motion behavior to Light sweep and press Play: the light swings back and forth around its angle, so the peach highlight slides across the rings. Movement intensity controls how wide the swing is.
FAQ
How is Rose orbit different from Mercury aperture?
Both use the Annulus sculpture, but Rose orbit doubles Fold frequency to 4 for more rings, raises Surface tension to 60 and tilts everything with Direction 25. Its violet, rose and peach palette is also warmer than the steel and copper of the other ring.
