Liquid vault: broad copper and teal domes of liquid metal
Liquid vault uses the Vault sculpture with only 2 folds, so the metal swells into a few broad domes rather than many ripples, leaving wide calm planes of caramel copper #c18c61 and dusty teal #598ca0. Light direction turns from 35 to 120, placing a bright cream flare near the top, and a handful of sharp creases meet at pinched points like seams in a cast shell. With Fine ripples at 20 and Surface tension at 45, it stays quiet and makes an easy hero background behind large type.
Make it yours
Stack more vaults
Raise Fold frequency from 2 to 4 and the domes break into stacked arches, closer to Platinum arch but in copper and teal. Change Variation seed to reshuffle where the creases land.
Leave space for copy
The calmest area is the broad copper plane just below the center. Use Position Y to slide the busy creases toward the top or bottom edge and keep more of that plane free for a headline.
FAQ
Is Liquid vault a good choice behind text?
Yes, it is a good fit for that. Two folds, low Fine ripples and moderate Surface tension leave large smooth areas, so a headline stays readable over the copper and teal. Keep Reflection contrast at 72 or lower for the calmest result.
How it works
Choose a surface
Start from one of 16 looks such as Copper current, Glacial chrome or Champagne foil, or pick one of 8 sculptures.
Direct the reflections
Adjust fold frequency, surface tension, fine ripples, polish, light direction, reflection contrast, color dispersion and sculptural depth, then drag the artwork to place it.
Color and use it
