Platinum arch: nested arches of lavender and steel metal
Platinum arch builds on the Vault sculpture with 5 folds, so the metal forms a stack of nested arches that ripple outward from a small whirl near the top of the frame. Surface tension sits at 28, keeping each arch smooth and evenly spaced, while steel blue #7796aa and lavender grey #9d8eac give the metal a cool platinum cast. Crisp rims from the mint-white Light color #eef5eb outline every band, a refined fit for premium tech, finance or watch campaigns.
Make it yours
Let the arches wobble
Surface tension 28 keeps the arches almost geometric. Raise it to 55 or 60 for a more liquid, hand-poured feel, or keep it low and increase Fold frequency to 7 for a tight, engraved look.
Warm the platinum
Replace Second color #9d8eac with a soft champagne and keep First color steel blue. The rims stay crisp, but the arches take on a white gold tone that suits jewellery and luxury packaging.
FAQ
Why are the arches in Platinum arch so even?
Surface tension controls how much the folds bend and wander, and at 28 they barely bend at all. With so little bending, the Vault shape shows its underlying concentric structure, so the 5 folds read as clean, regularly spaced arches.
How it works
Choose a surface
Start from one of 16 looks such as Copper current, Glacial chrome or Champagne foil, or pick one of 8 sculptures.
Direct the reflections
Adjust fold frequency, surface tension, fine ripples, polish, light direction, reflection contrast, color dispersion and sculptural depth, then drag the artwork to place it.
Color and use it
