Molten copper: concentric ripples in a polished copper pool
Molten copper uses the Annulus sculpture in the Full bleed composition, which turns the torus into concentric rings of ripples spreading across a dark pool of polished Mirror copper. The Rim light rig puts a red light behind the surface and a white strip in front, so each ring is traced by a thin copper line on one side and a red edge on the other. When it plays, the rings travel outward in a seamless loop of about 18 seconds.

Space the rings out
Fold frequency 2 sets the spacing of the ripples. Raise it to 6 and many fine rings crowd the pool; drop it to 1 for a few wide, slow swells.
Recolor the rim
Second light #FF3B1F is the red rim behind the copper. Turn it to amber for a molten, furnace look, or to cyan for a cold contrast against the warm metal.
FAQ
Why does Molten copper show rings instead of a ring-shaped object?
The Annulus sculpture changes with the composition. With Object it is a single torus standing in the studio; with Full bleed it becomes ripples spreading from the center, which is what turns this preset into a pool.
How it works
Choose a shoot
Start from one of 16 looks such as Chrome ribbon, Holographic foil or Burgundy lacquer, or pick one of 8 sculptures and one of 7 materials.
Light it
Choose a lighting rig and a composition (full bleed, object or horizon), then set polish, light direction, reflection contrast, color dispersion, fine ripples and sculptural depth.
Color and use it
Set the background, metal, second light and light colors, press Play for a seamless loop of about 18 seconds, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
