Satin pearl: a nacre pebble resting on cloud-white paper
Satin pearl turns the Cascade sculpture into a single smooth pebble with the Object composition, made of the Pearl material and set on cloud-white paper with a soft shadow beneath it. Pearl is not a metal, so the pebble keeps its own soft white body, and Color dispersion 90 adds a nacre sheen that drifts from pink to pale blue as the surface curves away. The Skylight rig and Sculptural depth 100 give it a full, rounded volume without any harsh highlight.
Make it yours
Cool the nacre
Second light #C9D6E8 is the pale blue horizon of the skylight. Make it lilac and the lower half of the pebble picks up a violet reflection while the top stays white.
Flatten the pebble
Sculptural depth at 100 makes the pebble deeply domed. Lower it to 40 and it becomes a flat, softly beveled stone, more like a button than a pebble.
FAQ
Is Satin pearl a metal?
No. The Pearl material renders a nonmetallic body under a clear, soft sheen, so the Metal color is the pebble's own base color rather than a reflection. That is why it stays white even where it faces the dark side of the studio.
How it works
Choose a shoot
Start from one of 16 looks such as Chrome ribbon, Holographic foil or Burgundy lacquer, or pick one of 8 sculptures and one of 7 materials.
Light it
Choose a lighting rig and a composition (full bleed, object or horizon), then set polish, light direction, reflection contrast, color dispersion, fine ripples and sculptural depth.
Color and use it
Set the background, metal, second light and light colors, press Play for a seamless loop of about 18 seconds, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
