Glacier metal: high-key titanium dunes in pale glacier blue
Glacier metal is the brightest preset in the set: the Dunes sculpture in the Satin material on a pale glacier-blue Background, lit by the Skylight rig. Because the ground is light, the studio becomes a white cyclorama with dark flags, and the satin titanium reflects them as thin gray lines along the lee side of each dune. Sculptural depth 100 and Polish 70 keep the ridges soft and rounded, like wind-polished ice.
Make it yours
Let the ridges meander
Surface tension 45 bends the ridges into gentle curves. Raise it to 85 and they meander and loop, closer to a frozen river than to dunes.
Add a pale gold sky
Light color is the white overcast sky above the dunes. A pale gold such as #FFF1D6 warms the highlights while the glacier-blue Background keeps the shot cool.
FAQ
Will Glacier metal work behind dark text?
Yes. It is a high-key image: pale blue ground, white sky and only thin gray lines on the shadow side of each ridge, so dark headlines and body copy stay readable on top.
How it works
Choose a shoot
Start from one of 16 looks such as Chrome ribbon, Holographic foil or Burgundy lacquer, or pick one of 8 sculptures and one of 7 materials.
Light it
Choose a lighting rig and a composition (full bleed, object or horizon), then set polish, light direction, reflection contrast, color dispersion, fine ripples and sculptural depth.
Color and use it
Set the background, metal, second light and light colors, press Play for a seamless loop of about 18 seconds, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
