Saffron waves: thick 70s wave stripes in saffron and caramel
Saffron waves uses the Waves pattern, where every row of the grid becomes one flowing band. At Band weight 86 the bands nearly fill each row and only thin slivers of cream Background show between them, while Grid density 9 keeps them wide. Saffron yellow, apricot, pink, burnt orange and caramel brown repeat in that order down the frame, the stripe sequence of a 1970s camper van or a vintage record label.
Make it yours
Change how often the waves crest
Pattern rhythm controls the wave frequency. At 65 you get long, lazy swells; push it to 100 for tighter ripples, or take it down to 0 for fewer, broader curves across the frame.
Let the waves roll
Press Play and the default Organic Motion behavior sends the bands drifting sideways like a slow tide. Lower Movement speed from 12 to 5 for motion that is barely noticeable behind a hero headline.
FAQ
What makes a wave stripe pattern look 70s?
Wide bands, rounded curves and an earthy, sunbaked palette: mustard, orange, brown and a touch of pink, laid in a repeating stripe sequence with little or no gap. Saffron waves follows that formula closely, and the soft cream slivers between the bands keep it from feeling heavy.
