Echo Bloom: lobed pink rings blooming out from the center
Echo Bloom fills the frame with pop pink and black rings that grow out of the center like petals opening. Wave distortion at 50 gives each ring five soft lobes, and every ring's lobes sit a little further round than the one inside it, so the outlines twist into a flower that softens toward the edge. On Flow new rings bud at the middle and spread outward while the lobes turn, closing the loop every 6 seconds.
Make it yours
Change the petal count
Wave distortion sets both the number of lobes and how deep they go. At 0 the rings are plain circles; around 30 they gain four shallow lobes, and at 85 six deep ones that read more like a flower than a ripple.
Bulge or wind the bloom
Distortion field is None, so Spatial depth has no effect yet. Set the field to Lens and the heart of the bloom swells toward you, or to Twist to wind the lobes into a pinwheel.
FAQ
How does Echo Bloom loop without the rings ever resetting?
The rings move outward by exactly two ring widths per loop, which brings the pattern back to where it started, and in the same time the lobes rotate by exactly one lobe. Because every moving part completes a whole cycle together, the last frame meets the first without a jump.
How it works
Choose a starting point
Start from one of 16 looks such as Riley Current, Cobalt Tunnel or Moiré Twins, or pick one of 8 pattern geometries, from Halftone and Checkerboard to Moiré and Weave.
Bend the pattern
Pick a Mark shape and a Distortion field such as Lens, Pinch, Fold or Twist, set Pattern density, Mark weight, Spatial depth, Wave distortion and Color separation, then drag the artwork to position it.
Loop it and use it
Press Play to run a seamless Flow, Breathe or Counterflow loop, set the two inks, Light color and Backlight, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
