Living corona: rippling rings of light for a dark hero background
Living corona uses the Corona structure, which opens a hollow in the middle of the membranes so the midnight navy background shows through, rimmed by a band of glowing blue. Around it, four rippling layers in peach and amber spread outward, and Filament density at 92 laces them with fine threads like solar flares. Fold complexity 5 keeps the rings restless and alive, a dramatic centerpiece for launches, event pages and AI products.
Make it yours
Put a logo in the hollow
The dark center is a natural frame. Keep Position X and Position Y at 50 so it lines up with centered content, and adjust Subject scale until your logo or orb fits inside the opening.
Make the flare pulse
Choose Light sweep under Motion behavior and press Play. The Iridescent edge swells and fades in a slow cycle, and taking Movement speed from 12 down to 6 keeps it calm behind text.
FAQ
What is a corona background?
A ring of light around a darker center, named after the glow around the sun during an eclipse. In Ethereal Veil Lab the Corona structure leaves the middle open to the Background, so Living corona reads as a halo of peach membranes around a midnight core.
How it works
Shape a membrane
Start from one of 16 looks such as Estuary, Blue organism or Living corona, or pick one of 8 flow structures.
Soften its flow
Adjust fold complexity, fluid tension, filament density, translucency, edge contrast, iridescence and edge softness, then drag the artwork to position the focal point.
Color and use it
Set the background, first, second and light colors, press Play for a slow movement, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
