Copper gauze: tilted copper pleats in warm soft gradient art
Copper gauze is the warm, tilted version of the Curtain structure: Direction at -25 leans the drape across the frame, and Fold complexity 6 adds rippled edges to every pleat. Copper fills the bodies, slate blue runs along each pleat edge, and the result looks like a length of metallic gauze lifted by a breeze. The linen background shows in the corners, keeping the piece light enough for fashion, interiors and craft brands.
Make it yours
Change the angle of the drape
Set Direction back to 0 for a straight vertical curtain, or push it to -45 for a steeper diagonal sweep that crosses the frame with more energy.
Swap the metal
First color holds the copper. Change it to a muted gold or a rosy metal tone and keep Second color slate blue so each pleat edge still stands out.
FAQ
Why tilt a background pattern?
A diagonal adds movement even when nothing is animated, and it guides the eye across the layout. Copper gauze leans its curtain with Direction at -25, so the pleats sweep from the upper left toward the lower right.
How it works
Shape a membrane
Start from one of 16 looks such as Estuary, Blue organism or Living corona, or pick one of 8 flow structures.
Soften its flow
Adjust fold complexity, fluid tension, filament density, translucency, edge contrast, iridescence and edge softness, then drag the artwork to position the focal point.
Color and use it
Set the background, first, second and light colors, press Play for a slow movement, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
