Fluid art generator for translucent, organic backgrounds
Ethereal Veil Lab composes soft, translucent forms that look grown rather than drawn. Choose a tide, an iris, wings, cells, a dividing cell, a shell, a curtain or a corona, then set how many folds it has, how tense its flow is and how dense its filaments are. Translucency, edge contrast and an iridescent edge give each membrane its light.
How it works
Shape a membrane
Start from one of 16 looks such as Estuary, Blue organism or Living corona, or pick one of 8 flow structures.
Soften its flow
Adjust fold complexity, fluid tension, filament density, translucency, edge contrast, iridescence and edge softness, then drag the artwork to position the focal point.
Color and use it
Set the background, first, second and light colors, press Play for a slow movement, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
What you can make

FAQ
What does Ethereal Veil Lab make?
Translucent, organic artworks: membranes, filaments and flowing color with an iridescent edge, rendered live in your browser.
Does it need a graphics card?
It renders with WebGL for the full material. Where WebGL is not available, it shows a simplified preview in your colors, and most form and material settings only take effect with WebGL.
Is the artwork animated?
It stays still until you press Play. Motion changes the flow and the light of the membrane, not the frame, and you set its intensity and speed.
Is Ethereal Veil Lab free?
Exploring is free and runs in your browser. Using your result on the UX Pilot canvas or exporting it needs a free UX Pilot account.
