Blue organism: see-through blue cells for an abstract organic background
Blue organism switches the Flow structure to Cells, which stacks four rounded membranes into a column that climbs from the lower left toward the top of the frame. Translucency is raised to 82, so each cell reads like a drop of tinted water and every overlap builds a darker pool of blue. The warm sand background stays open on the right, a natural place for a headline or a sign-up form.
Make it yours
Smooth the cells or make them restless
Fold complexity is 4, which gives each cell a gently lobed outline. Lower it to 1 or 2 for smooth, pebble-like cells, or raise it to 7 for a busier, amoeba-like edge.
Keep the blue on a dark page
If you move this look onto a dark Background, pull Translucency back toward 60. The cells then keep more of their own blue instead of taking on the darker ground beneath them.
FAQ
How do I make an abstract organic background that looks alive?
Use rounded, overlapping forms with no straight lines and let light pass through them. The Cells structure, a low Fluid tension of 37 and high Translucency do exactly that here, and pressing Play adds a slow Organic drift so the cells seem to move on their own.
How it works
Shape a membrane
Start from one of 16 looks such as Estuary, Blue organism or Living corona, or pick one of 8 flow structures.
Soften its flow
Adjust fold complexity, fluid tension, filament density, translucency, edge contrast, iridescence and edge softness, then drag the artwork to position the focal point.
Color and use it
Set the background, first, second and light colors, press Play for a slow movement, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
