Red shift: a vermilion cover poster with a bold five-point figure
Red shift is the only preset where the paper is the loudest color on the page. Light color is a saturated vermilion, the type and the first outlines are near-black Ink, and the outer outlines warm into apricot Accent so the figure seems to glow at its edge. That figure is a superformula with a Symmetry of 5, softened by a moderate Coupling of 48 and drawn at a Line width of 2, large at a Shape scale of 110 behind the cover headline.
Make it yours
Shift the color, keep the volume
The impact comes from a saturated Light color under dark Ink. Cobalt, emerald or hot pink paper all work the same way; just keep Accent a pale tint of the paper color so the outer lines still glow.
Make the figure heavier
Line width is 2 and the control goes up to 5. At 3 or more the layered outlines begin to merge into a solid band, which turns the star into a bold graphic shape that reads from across a room.
FAQ
Will a full red background overwhelm my layout?
On its own page, no: that intensity is the purpose of the preset, and the near-black type keeps it readable. Inside a larger interface it is best used in small doses, as a single card, a section divider or a social tile. The Social and Story previews give a fair impression of how it behaves at those sizes.
