Dispersion glass text: clear letters that split light
Dispersion glass renders the word as thick clear glass with fully rounded edges, so each letter refracts the studio, the floor and even the letters behind it. Light passing through splits slightly by wavelength, so the bevels and the strip lights seen through them pick up thin rainbow fringes, the way a prism does.
Make it yours
Tint the glass
Letter color tints the light that passes through: the thicker the glass at a point, the stronger the tint. Pale blue or mint reads as real glass, deeper colors as colored crystal.
Give it something to bend
Glass shows by bending what is behind it, so keep Lighting on Studio or Night for bright strips to refract, and use Turn so the letters overlap: each one is seen through the next.
