Chromatic current: sideways hairline waves with pale diagonal creases
Chromatic current rotates the Weave geometry by 90 degrees, so a dense run of hairlines flows horizontally instead of hanging down. With Pattern density at 78 and Wave distortion at 82, close to the maximum, the lines fold into long diagonal ridges that glow pale pink where they pinch together, like wind drawn across dunes. Color separation at 25 splits each stroke into periwinkle and dusty rose, so the whole field seems to vibrate even before you press Play.
Make it yours
Stand the lines back up
Direction is 90 here, which lays the weave on its side. Set it to 0 for vertical lines like Optical textile, or to 45 for a steep diagonal that gives a hero section a strong sense of movement.
Pull the colors apart
Color separation at 25 already doubles every hairline with a dusty rose copy. Push it toward 50 and the copies separate into a visible second layer of waves, a loud, vibrating effect for music visuals and posters.
FAQ
What does Movement speed do on this look?
Once you press Play, the waves travel along the lines, and Movement speed sets how fast. At the default of 10 the current drifts slowly; above 25 it starts to race, which can pull attention from text, so keep it low for backgrounds.
How it works
Choose a visual system
Start from one of 16 looks such as Signal field, Interference study or Electric passage, or pick one of 8 pattern geometries.
Tune the illusion
Adjust pattern density, mark weight, spatial depth, wave distortion, pattern phase and color separation, then drag the artwork to position it.
Set it in motion
Press Play to move the marks as a flow, a breath or a counterflow, set the colors, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
