Pixelated: any image in big square blocks and its own 16 colors
Pixelated is the plain way to pixelate an image: the picture is cut into blocks of 12 pixels, and each block takes the nearest of 16 colors that From image picks from the photo itself. Dithering is off, so every block is one flat color and edges stay clean, and Contrast is lifted to 10 so neighbouring colors separate a little more.
Make it yours
Choose how blocky
Pixel size sets the block. Try 6 to keep faces and lettering readable, or 24 and more to reduce a photo to a few dozen bold blocks with an abstract, mosaic feel.
Fewer colors, more pixel art
Lower Colors from 16 to 6 or 8 and the picture flattens into posterized areas that look drawn by hand; raise it to 32 when skin tones or skies start to band.
