Rose Satin: a brushed rose-gold lion head on blush
Rose Satin dresses the lion head in rose gold (#F2B8A2) and then brushes it: Brushed finish at 55 stretches every highlight into fine streaks, so the mane looks satin rather than polished. A soft overhead skylight and a pale blush Backdrop (#EFE4DD) keep the contrast gentle, and Roughness 16 blurs the reflections just enough to feel like jewelry metal. The plinth picks up the same warm pink, which makes the whole frame tonal and calm.
Make it yours
Choose the grain
Brushed finish controls how far highlights are dragged along the surface. Around 25 gives a fine hairline grain; past 70 the reflections turn into long satin smears that hide most of the sculpted detail.
Shift from rose to champagne
For a paler champagne gold, set Metal to #EBD3A8 and warm the Backdrop to a light cream. Leave Gel light on its muted terracotta so the side panels still add a little warmth to the mane.
FAQ
What is the difference between Roughness and Brushed finish?
Roughness blurs reflections evenly in every direction, like sandblasting. Brushed finish stretches them one way, like metal sanded with a fine pad, so highlights become streaks. Rose Satin uses both: 16 for a soft blur and 55 for the satin grain.
