Disco ball: a photo covered in shiny mirror tiles and soft flares
Disco ball tiles your image like a mirror ball: each cell becomes a small glass facet in the averaged color of its patch, with a bright reflection along the top edge and a darker band at the bottom. Facets in the brighter parts of the picture throw a soft white flare onto their neighbors, and every one catches the light a little differently, so highlights sparkle the way they do under a spotlight. It is made for party invitations, music artwork and anything that should feel like a night out.
Make it yours
Scatter the reflections
Tile uniformity at 80 keeps neighboring tiles close in brightness. Lower it to 30 and each one catches a different amount of light, which adds the uneven glitter of a real mirror ball.
Add a slow shimmer
Set Motion to Flicker and tiles fade in and out at random as the animation plays, like light moving across a turning ball. Keep Speed low, near 20, for a gentle sparkle.
FAQ
What kind of photo works best with Disco ball?
Pictures with strong highlights against a darker or saturated background, such as a lit face, a performer or a product under a spotlight. Only bright tiles throw flares, so contrast in the original decides where the sparkle lands, and a flat, evenly lit photo gives tiles with little glitter.
