Teal depths: a backlit iris of spiraling teal fibers
Teal depths turns the Iris structure into an eye lit from behind: about 3,100 pale teal fibers spiral out from a small pupil and fade into a deep teal-black ground. A light set inside the pupil shines through its center, so the middle glows mint-white while the outer fibers sink into shadow. Fluid tension 80 winds the fibers into a strong swirl, as if the iris were slowly turning.
Make it yours
Straighten the fibers
Fluid tension sets how far each fiber swirls on its way out. Drop it from 80 to about 20 and the iris opens into straight radial spokes; push it to 100 for a tight whirlpool.
Velvet or crisp
Edge contrast at 80 already favors fibers seen edge-on. Lower it to 40 for an even, velvety iris, or raise Membrane edge softness for a wider, mistier glow around the pupil.
FAQ
What makes the bright pupil in Teal depths glow?
The Iris structure places a light behind its center, seen straight through the pupil. Translucency 80 adds to it, so the core blooms toward the mint-white Light color while the fibers around it stay dim teal.
How it works
Pick a structure
Start from one of 16 looks such as Plum smoke, Aurora curtain or Spectral prism, or choose one of 8 flow structures: tide, iris, wings, cells, division, shell, curtain or corona.
Tune the light
Shape it with fold complexity, fluid tension and filament density, then set translucency, edge contrast, the iridescent edge and membrane edge softness for the glow. Drag the artwork to place it.
Color and use it
Set the background, first, second and light colors, press Play for a seamless loop of about 17 seconds, then sign in with a free UX Pilot account to use it on the canvas or export it.
